Randy Kulik, Jazz Band Director

Randy Kulik is the director of bands at Jefferson Junior High School and director of the Naperville North jazz band. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Randy Kulik has been a music teacher with Naperville District 203 since 1994. He is also the Coordinator of the Naperville 203 Jazz Festival and a contributing author to "The Instrumentalist" magazine.

Prior to coming to the Naperville School District, Mr. Kulik taught at Holy Cross High School in River Grove, and was on the music faculty of Roosevelt University.

Mr. Kulik has played trumpet professionally for over 30 years and was a professional band leader for 15 years. He performed with the Chicago Bear's field band at Soldier Field for all Chicago Bear home games as well as with the Legends rock band which performed with John Records Landecker. Mr. Kulik also plays with the Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra and had the opportunity to perform in Hong Kong for the Macau International Music Festival.

Mr. Kulik and his wife Ami, a teacher at Kennedy Junior High School, have 5 children and live in Downers Grove, Illinois.
