NNHS Northern Lights Colorguard News

The team has gotten off to a great fall season, twenty members strong. Coming in 6th for their winterguard season with a show titled "The Poetry Man". The team is excited about the progress of it's new members and the prospects for the upcoming season.

• Lake Park Lancer Joust - Finals 2nd place; Outstanding General Effect
• Chicagoland Marching Band Festival (Wheeling) - Competition Grand Champions; 1st Place in Class (AAA), Best Drum Major, Best General Effect
• Prospect Knight of Champions - 3rd Place in Class (AAA)
• Bands of America Regional Competition in Ypsilanti, MI; 3rd in class (4A), Finals 8th Place
• Illinois State Invitational - 2nd in class (6A); Caption Awards for Crowd Appeal, and tied for Overall Effect; Finals 4th Place
