The 2008 marching band season is just weeks away with Rookie camps beginning in July and Band camp starting August 4th. This year's show, Copland or "Cop Land", will be a virtual throw back in time to the days of the Keystone Cops. Without giving away the entire show, cops, robbers, a jailhouse, overturning fruit carts, siren and alarms are a few of the antics we can look foward to! The theme winds beautifully throughout the show with original music, choreography, props, costumes and flags, written and designed by Mr. Moore.

Winter Guard News

The Naperville North Northern Lights have worked extremely hard from November through April to perfect their show, "The Sundial: Lux Fit Noctis." The girls competed in 6 competitions this year. The Northern Lights, for the first time ever, competed on the national stage at the Winter Guard International Power Regional in Avon, Indiana. They ended their season with the Midwest Circuit Championships at Lincolnway East High School where they placed 8th in their class of Scholastic A. An end of the year banquet was held at Connie's pizza where all of the participants received their awards. The girls had a great year and we are looking forward to next year.
