The ’40s Dance

The ’40s Dance is a semi-formal gala featuring 3 hours of dancing to live music provided by our award-winning jazz students, along with free swing dance lessons, coffee & dessert, and door prizes. Now in its 23rd year, this popular event is held in one of the area’s largest and most elegant ballrooms, Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge.

Attend the dance! It’s not just for kids. Discounted advance-purchase tickets are available in the foyer before most spring semester band events, or click here to order on-line. Be sure to invite your family, friends, and neighbors, too. A complimentary reserved table is included with all orders of 10 or more tickets (a $25 value).

Get ready to swing! From 6-8 p.m. on February 4 & 18, and March 3, Parent Dance Socials will be offered at Sterba’s DanceSport. Join other music parents for an hour of professional dance instruction followed by an hour to practice what we’ve learned. You may bring snacks and beverages to enjoy if you like. The cost is $15 per person per session, and space is limited. Please click here to make your reservation.

Place an advertisement in our program! This event is attended by approximately 500 people. Starting at only $35, an ad in our program is an extremely cost-effective way to reach your neighbors while supporting some of the wonderful educational and recreational opportunities that make Naperville a great place to visit, live, and raise a family.
